How The NBA Censored This Fan

-

For the second time ON AMERICAN SOIL, in Washington DC, security guards took signs from Americans who were life-long NBA fans because the signs mentioned China. They were told that if they resisted, they would be escorted out. No refund was offered.

When fans asked why the NBA was confiscating their signs they were told: “We respect your freedom of speech, but we don’t have any stance on [Hong Kong]. So we’re just asking not to have any signage related to that in here tonight.”

If you can’t quite understand that, it’s because it is nonsense.

This is the same NBA that moved the All-Star game from North Carolina to protest their bathroom law.
